Welcome to www.carabidae-photo.com. We have put together a webpage about species of the Carabidae family – tribus Carabini, Cicindelini and Cychrini. We will try to update the page as often as possible. Our goal is to include all of Europe in our database and have notes about the classification of this big species group.
With the kind permission of Mr. Boleslav Brezina, the systematic taxonomy of the Carabus species is placed in accordance with the publication "WORLD CHECK LIST GENUS CARABUS L.", since 1993 till the most recent publication.
We want to allow our pages to be “open” for the cooperation of all entomologists and experts studying these groups. We look forward to it!
